Living with your elderly parents

What do you think might be the pros ans cons of living with your elderly parents?

In my opinion, there are lots of pros when I think of living with my elderly parents. They can not only share their wisdom with me, but also they can take care of my children. Some people might think that living with parents will have no privacy, and most of time there is tension and anger between the two generations.

Well, the generation gap might be a problem, but not a problem for those people willing to communicate with each other. The truth is, the more people talk to each other, the easier it is for them to get to know each other.

Take myself for example, I would like to stay with my parents if I can find a bigger house for all the family members. Everyone will have their own living space and freedom. But they can esaily get together if they want to have a family dinner. Besides, Chinese people think it is important to respect their elderly parents. Because they want their kids to treat them in the same way. Actions speak much louder than words.
